1. What makes Lazika different from other teas?
Lazika doesn’t just produce tea — we design it. Every stage from soil to cup is carefully planned. From how the leaves are picked to how they're blended with herbs, everything is intentional. Because we believe good tea is a matter of design.
2. What kinds of teas do you offer?
Lazika offers one of the widest tea selections in Turkey—and even globally. Alongside our hand-picked First Harvest Black Teas from the high villages of Rize, we have handcrafted early harvest Green Teas, Super Green Teas, Functional Herbal Teas made from real fruit, and Authentic Turkish Gift Teas. Whether you’re looking for a strong black tea or a relaxing herbal blend, we have a tea designed for every moment.
3. What’s the difference between loose leaf and tea bags?
For Lazika, there’s no quality difference—only form. None of our teas contain dust. Tea bags simply use slightly finer tea, allowing for quicker steeping.
4. What does “double filtration” mean? What are the benefits?
Lazika black teas are filtered twice during production. This special process removes dust from the tea leaves.

5. How should I store my tea?
To keep your tea fresh, store it in an airtight container in a cool, dry, and dark place. Tea easily absorbs moisture and strong odors, so keep it away from spices and other pungent foods. Lazika’s tea pouches are specially designed to maintain freshness.
6. How long does tea stay fresh?
All our teas have a recommended best-before date on the packaging. This is not an expiration date. Our packaging is designed to preserve the tea for a long time. For black and green teas, the suggested shelf life is 3 years; for herbal teas, 2 years—provided they’re kept away from moisture, odor, and direct light.
7. Do your teas contain caffeine?
Yes, some of our teas contain caffeine. Black and green teas naturally have caffeine. However, we also offer caffeine-free herbal and fruit teas. Product descriptions include detailed caffeine information.
8. How should I brew your teas?
For Turkish Black Tea, we recommend the traditional double teapot method. Brew black, herbal, and fruit teas with 100°C (212°F) water. For green teas, let the water cool slightly and brew at 85°C (185°F) for the best flavor. Then steep for 3–5 minutes for all kinds of teas. Each product package provides brewing times and temperatures.
9. Do you have health-supporting blends?
Yes! Our functional teas are available on our website under the "Functional" category. These teas are not medicines or supplements but support your wellness journey. For example, our Collagen Green Tea supports normal skin and hair health, while our Prebiotic Green Tea contributes to digestive health.
10. Where do your teas come from?
Our teas are hand-picked in the fertile lands of the Eastern Black Sea region of Turkey, particularly from the high-altitude villages of Rize. We work directly with local farmers to source the highest quality leaves. 100% of Lazika’s production and operations take place in Ardeşen, Rize. Our goal is to make our region’s tea and its people’s labor globally appreciated and preferred.
11. Are your teas gluten-free and allergen-friendly?
Yes, our teas are naturally gluten-free and free from known allergens. However, if you have specific concerns, we recommend checking the ingredient lists or contacting us.
12. Do your tea bags contain microplastics?
No. We use PLA (Polylactic Acid), a biodegradable material made from corn starch. So there are no microplastics in your tea, and no harm to the environment.
13. Do you offer caffeine-free options?
Yes, we offer naturally caffeine-free herbal and fruit teas. You can find more details on our product pages.
14. What certifications do your teas have?
All our teas are produced in our own facility in Ardeşen, Rize, in accordance with international food safety standards. Lazika holds certifications such as FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, GMP, Halal, SEDEX, and FDA. Our teas are 100% natural, chemical-free, and reliably certified. 15. Can your teas help with weight loss?
Tea alone is not a weight loss solution. However, some of our teas—especially green teas—may support metabolism when combined with a balanced diet and active lifestyle.
16. Do your teas contain artificial flavoring or preservatives?
Absolutely not. Lazika teas contain no artificial flavors, sweeteners, or preservatives. Each blend contains only pure, high-quality ingredients from nature.
17. Are your teas Halal-certified?
Yes. Lazika teas are Halal-certified and contain no non-Halal ingredients. We offer natural, safe-to-consume teas you can enjoy with peace of mind.
18. Are your tea packages recyclable?
Yes. Our packaging is designed with sustainability in mind. Most materials used are recyclable, and we’re always working to be more eco-friendly.
