Sustainable by Nature. Driven by Purpose
You can't make a good meal with poor ingredients — and you can’t make great tea without a good leaf.
That’s why sustainability starts at the source. At Lazika, we honor tea and nature equally, and we believe truly great tea is grown with respect.
Our tea garden and production center in Elmalık Village is the heart of our sustainable farming efforts. From soil to steep, every decision we make is guided by a simple value: respect for the leaf.
In 2024, we began applying permaculture principles to enrich the soil and set a new standard in quality tea cultivation. We encourage hand-picking over mechanical harvesting — and we pay four times more for it. This results in better tea, and stronger rural economies.
But sustainability, to us, is more than how we farm. It’s about how we work. Our rural farmers and harvesters are our partners. Our cloth packaging is sewn by women entrepreneurs in nearby villages. These projects uplift communities while reducing waste — and they grow thanks to your support.
In 2025, we’ll expand permaculture efforts and support the cultivation of other herbs used in our blends. Lazika is becoming a model for sustainable agriculture, not just in tea, but in rural development as well.
🌎 Sustainability & Social Impact at Lazika
We draw our energy for sustainable change from nature itself — and from people like you.
Lazika is on a mission to lead the future of tea cultivation while actively supporting the rural communities that make it possible. Every contribution we make — to nature, to our team, to our growers and neighbors — doesn’t just improve the quality of our tea. It improves the world around us.
We believe in sustainable farming.
We believe in ethical production.
And above all, we believe tea should do good.
